Curriculum Vitae
I was born in Milan 14th October 1978. I had my bachelor degree in Philosophy from the University of Milan-Bicocca in 2002.
In 2006 I had I my PhD from the University of Milan Bicocca for which I discussed the thesis “Pervasive Computing and Space: a Knowledge Representation Approach†about an approach to event correlation based on commonsense spatial reasoning.
At the moment I am a junior scientist within the three-year Italian FIRB project NeP4B – Networked Peers for Business at the Department of Computer Science, Systems and Communication (DISCo) of the University of Milan Bicocca. Within the same department I collaborate with the ITIS group (Innovative Technologies for Interaction and Services) and the CSAI (Complex Systems and Artificial Intelligence) research center.
My research activity focuses mainly on Knowledge Representation (KR) and on the application of KR techniques to different research areas such as (i) Semantic Web, Ontology Driven Information Systems and Services and (ii) Event Correlation.
